The Feminist Peace Network is a blog that focuses on bringing awareness to the global pandemic of violence against women. A recent post talked about the sexual violence that is increasing in Columbia. The Oxfam coalition is calling for zero tolerance for sexual violence committed by the armed forces – gurilla groups, government security forces, and paramilitary groups.
It seems relevant to class in that it deals with social issues occuring throughout the world including sex, power and politics
